Creating the link
Every blog has three mandatory fields that must be filled out before a visitor can post a blog comment:

  1. Name
  2. Email
  3. URL

If the blog is from Typepad.com:
Scroll to the bottom of the post where the comment box is located and fill in the following three fields:

  1. In the Name field place the Anchor text
  2. In the Email field you can enter a fictional email address such as myemail@mail.com
  3. In the URL field enter the Landing Page (the link’s URL)

If the blog is from Blogspot.com:
Scroll to the bottom of the post where the comment box is located. There are two ways to respond now:

  1. The usual way:
    1. In the Name field place the Anchor text
    2. In the URL field enter the Landing Page (the link’s URL)
  2. With a Google Account

To comment as a Google account you need to open a fake Gmail account, make sure you use a fake name, birthdate, etc. It is very important to record all the details of the fake account so you can always return to it later. After opening the fictitious account you can easily begin commenting on Blogspot pages using the fake account. It is possible to use this single account for all Blogspot blog comments.

Important! Blogspot automatically identifies the Gmail account which you have open (or didn’t Logout of) on your computer. You must make sure that you are logged out of your personal Gmail account and logged into the fictitious one before you submit your comment.

When responding with a Google account, enter the anchor/ landing page in the body of the comment by using a simple HTML code:

<a href=“Landing Page”>ANCHOR</a>
Instead of the word ANCHOR enter the anchor text you are promoting and instead of the words Landing Page place the URL of the project’s landing page.

Comment Content
A comment should be neither too long nor too short- it should be around 3 lines. Additionally, a comment should be related to the blog post and express an opinion or personal experience relevant to the post. Writing an interesting, content filled and detailed post will strengthen the credibility of your link and the chance that the moderator will approve it.

Tips

  • If this was your own blog try and write a comment which you yourself would not delete and would be happy to have on your blog.
  • Never mention a client’s name or company name in your comment.
